Where to find workbench mats?

Hey would love to see pictures of you guys work bench mats. The only ones I can find all the 4 that summit sells (mopar ford chevy busted knuckle) and this jegs one. I like these mats but am looking for more options and can't find much.

AutoZone blew out a pile of these floor mats that I use on the bench. Rear seat rubber floor mats also work well.

Original use is to reduce carpet wear in high traffic areas. The ridges kept tiny parts from rolling around quite well.Most of my work on that mat is for "clean" items. If I had work on something that was greasy, it was pretty easy to shoot down outside with some degreaser and a hose.

My entire bench is covered with 1/8" 'industrial' rubber. It has been the best bench top material I have used. It dusts off easily with a brush, can easily be cleaned with water or degreaser, and doesn't damage any chisel blades or delicate tools/materials. Granted, if you do a lot of welding and deal with hot metal, probably not a great material.

I don't just want a rubber mat I wanted ones meant for the work bench with the different little dimpled areas. I was just seeing if there were anyone out there with other cool designs

Look on eBay for "bar mats". Most aren't great because they have a surface better suited for draining liquids rather then keeping track of small parts, but there's hundreds of designs to choose from.

Personally, I'm in need of a 12" to 14" square plain mat with a slight raised lip around the edges. Anybody have a line on something like that?

Ask Advance Auto, Autozone, etc to keep the old ones for you most stores get new ones every month.

I use the 1/8 " rubber floor runners, I turn them rib side down so the smooth side is up. Then I use carpet sample's on top of that so I have something soft and screws won't roll off.

These are what we use at work. They're industrial grade. Designed for high traffic, factory use. Will probably last a hobbyist a lifetime! A little pricey but you'll never need another one and your feet will thank you!

You can buy anti-fatigue mats in just about any size. If you have a 8' bench, purchase a 3'x10' which will give you a 3'x8' piece to stand on and a 2'x3' piece for the bench top to work on carbs, etc. Usually available in black or gray(my suggestion is gray as you can see black screws, etc easily). Usually can buy in a different thicknesses also, 1/4", 3/8", 5/8",etc. I've had good luck w/ www.uline.com

I use promotional counter mats that I've gotten from working in industrial supply over the past couple of years. Couldn't hurt to ask a local supply house/ auto parts store if they have any old ones kicking around.

I went to a flooring store , got some vinyl floor planking. I think they were 4mm thick. 6"x48" length.

If your not going to beat on them works as a desk and lite bench work for me.

My 9' steel bench is where I do the normal and heavy work.
