Plombob, if you want ding protection around the handle, you may want to look at page 3485 of the McMaster-Carr online catalog ("Ultra-Flexible Foam Rubber Insulation for Pipe, Tube, and Fittings"). That's what I have on my jacks and it works great. Soft and rubbery closed-cell (actually pleasing to the touch), unlike the typical stiff polyethylene.

Does the jack you bought have a lifetime warranty? I have been trying to find that information on their website but they don't list the set.

what do the NASCAR crews use? I know they modify the pumps in the jacks but do they offer their jacks on the retail market? Are they light weight or do they lighten them to suit the jackman? Thanks for the info.

Thats why its your money.. But Hein Werner is Headquartered in American and builty by Americans. And "NO Questions Asked" its a "Great" Jack. Honestly as a consumer you cant go wrong with either a HW or a Milwaukee.
owned by the chi coms , but it is the old lincoln jack ..a great jack

Lol... Yes. I'm fully aware of the current HW heritage (20+ years in the trade). And when I need parts I don't call china, I speak with a representative in Kansas City. Also give the credit to walker it was there design, not Lincoln, They were just a bump in the road. It is a great jack...I'll agree on that.

Yes. It says it is warranted until the product no longer works due to normal wear. The warranty included a listing of all repair shops world wide. There is one in CO - Denver.

Used the jack and stands this weekend. They worked great!

I wouldnt buy a floor jack from tooltopia. If there is anything wrong with it, you are pretty much stuck with it. Search all the return complaints abt tooltopia...there's a plethora out there. My 2 cents worth. Mistake to buy a floor jack from tooltopia.
