I finally bought a Foredom TX-30 rotary grinder for some up coming port & polish work on my Subaru Intake manifold and throttle bodies. I am wondering where you guys buy your carbide bit & files, and what other bits that I might need. I have nothing and am looking to compile a set that will let me do everything from cylinder heads to intake & exhaust manifolds.

MSC and Victor Machinery Exchange would be my first choices.

MSC/J&L, Enco, And Reid Supply will have the best prices. McMaster Carr has everything but will cost you more. I use McMaster Carr when I need something right away, they have courier drop off in one to two hours for $30.00 in my area.

You are looking rotary burrs they are quite easy to come up with even Eastwood has them. Do not get carbide unless you are either rich or working on hardened steel I use HSS burrs on CroMo and Ti no problems and the burrs are 20+ years old.
