I inherited a Craftsman workbench in need of drawer slides. I looked at sears.com/craftsman and craftsman.com with no luck. I looked through Waterloo tools website also with no luck. I think it is a 70's vintage bench. The slides are about 13 7/8" long. I found what I think it is in a 68 Sears catalog p/n 99 kt 10261n9.

Email Waterloo replacement parts or customer service and they will help you with the parts you need. They are very helpful and I too needed slides for a 79' box and they had what I needed. Be ready to tell them the lenght of the slides you need.

If you can't find it searching call them. I have fixed a couple of Tool Boxes using their services.

I called Waterloo, they do not make a slide in the length I need. They suggested Kennedy, they didn't make the box. I'll call Sears on Monday and see what they say. Is there anyplace I can download Craftsman catalogs? I have a 68 and 72-3 saved.

Waterloo still sells friction slides back into the 70's and 80's? I thought those were made of unobtanium?

The person at Waterloo rattled off different lengths they have available, but not in the length I need.

Thanks for the offer. I don't know what year the bench is. I don't see any numbers on it and it they are on the back, it will take a lot to access the back. My guess from 69- mid 80's. I'll gladly send you some $ for your effort.

Called today. Totally clueless without a model number. Couldn't comprehend what a drawer slide is. I'm going to call Waterloo again because it look I may be able to use a longer slide since they don't show a slide in the length I have.

Wow. They fixed me up with the right slides to fix an old box last year over the phone. And in February they were able to find an Electric Motor for one of their discontinued all Stainless Shop Vacs.

Good luck.

I think most of the problem lies in that I do not have the model number, just the item number from their 68, 72-3, and 76-7 tool catalogs. Even with those, they couldn't help. I'll try on Monday, maybe the weekday csr's are better.

I know this is old but when they said Kennedy I think maybe they meant they sourced the slides from them, not that they made the bench?

I have a handful that measure 14 and 3/4 long. And these attach to the drawers with the metal clips to lock them in place.
