Where to get mounting magnets?

I bought a bunch a few years back from either home deport, ace hardware, or lowes but I went back to all three the other day and none of them carried them anymore

I also did a google search and ebay search and couldn't find a reliable source for them either. Does anyone know where I can get them in "bulk" or for "cheap"?

search "round base magnet" on eBay. Whatcha tryin' to hang? I needed small ones to display vintage metal beer serving trays. The small ones were 8 for $23 plus the ride. Even the small ones hold 25 lbs.

HF has them. 2 for $2.99. 60lb magnets with hooks. I drilled the hooks out and made what I needed.

BTW...the magnets with just the holes at HF are double the price with less holding power.

MSC has them with black plastic handles for hanging things like prints on machinery, etc.

You are right Radio Flyer, I was going to say exactly the same thing, that's where I got mine and yes once again you are right they DO have EVERYTHING.

minhster you can outfit them with whatever your needs might be, an eye bolt, a hook ... But be aware, once you are on the mcmaster website it's like "garage/hardware ****" you'll spend hours on it ... you have been warned ...

Mcmaster Carr is double trouble for me. They are local, they have everything in stock, and are about 20 min away.
