I'm in the process of adding a 3rd garage and need to find some wire to go from my 200Amp main panel in my house to my 100amp sub panel. Wire will all be inside. I have been told to use SER 2-2-2-4. I haven't been able to find it at a reasonable price local. Menards doesn't carry it. Local electrical supplier has it in copper for $7.60/ft. I'm sure there is somewhere to order it online. I just want to make sure I order the right stuff. I need about 55'.
Thanks for any help. ---Rats I see I posted it in the wrong spot. Hopefully when the powers to be see it they will move it.

#2 AL is not suitable for 100A, either need to use a 90A circuit breaker or increase the wire size.

As above - every HD I've been in has 500' rolls of the stuff. Also, what Norcal said. I used it here and fused the line at 70A because they had that breaker on the shelf.

I'm planning on using 90a breaker. The guy I talked to at Menards told me they couldn't order it let alone just 60'. I'll be there tomorrow for my weekly trip and check again.
Thanks
