Where to put lift ?

I am close to standing the thing up and bolting it down and I am having second thoughts.... I was planning to use location 1.

I did a quick sketch of the shop and the plans...
Bendpak XPR-10ACX lift fwiw..

I like location one, it leaves the large area in your shop ubobstructed. 2 feet is tight to walk around behind the column, but not impossible.

Nice shop. My first impressions same as project_junkie. Min 3' walk around working area on inside shop wall to post and 4' would be a whole lot better.

Thanks location 1 will be it and I'll reduce the room to 18 feet.
Next question how far in from the door us best ?
I'll be lifting my Yukon xl as probably the longest vehical .
My doors roll up btw so they do not extend out into the shop.
14.5 side walls on the shop too and this is the gable end.
