i have a dusk to dawn light at the top of the gable, it lights up the whole driveway. id say if you put one at the top of the gable, and the outher two on the front, above the doors, you ought to light it up pretty good.

I would keep a big, decorative motion light in the middle. You can always use some nice bright light for the driveway. Then a nice carriage light on the sides. Lowe's has some carriage motion detector lights. I think they were about $55 a pair.

Im thinking something like this with the upper two as the green ones you pictured. If you dont want the sign/commercial look, I would leave the green ones off. I would put the side lights at or just below the opening of the doors.

Put it up top in the middle so it won't be in your eyes as you approach the garage at night. I just helped my nephew move his to the upper position. He loves it now. But he has a mercury vapor light that was blinding him down low, and now it illuminates the whole yard from the higher position.
