HF has really cheap set of 1/4.

I buy single sockets at pawn shops or ebay.

The only 5/8" deep and shallow I could find were Blue Point. I looked all over and I just don't believe anyone else makes them.

why mess around with singles? you can get an entire set for less than what you'd pay for a half dozen of those you listed.
Craftsman - SAE/metric - (not ALL you're looking for, but it will fill a huge hole):

31 pcs. up to $8.50 + shipping right now. can't tell if it's US or China:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Craftsm...:g:UDMAAOSwAYtWMR6t&item=191749825941&vxp=mtr

33 pcs. 99 cents + shipping right now. no deep wells. can't tell if it's US or China:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Craftsm...:g:6B4AAOSwjVVV0hS5&item=191749825517&vxp=mtr

64 pcs. $10.50 right now. free shipping. China.

same as above. now up to $10.50
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAFTSMAN-S...044494?hash=item51dcb29e8e:g:nzAAAOSw9r1WBJy7

21 pcs. deep only SAE and metric $25 free shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAFTSMAN-2...:g:664AAOSwp5JWXlPW&item=221956961232&vxp=mtr

20 pcs SAE only deep and shallow $18 free shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAFTSMAN-1...:g:TCUAAOSwxN5WXlLU&item=221956960758&vxp=mtr

23 pcs SAE and metric shallow only $18 free shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CRAFTSMAN-2...:g:45MAAOSwNphWXlKl&item=321936859436&vxp=mtr

44 pcs looks like SAE and metric shallow and deep $20 right now + $6 shipping:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Craftsman-4...:g:IDMAAOSwA4dWN4iP&item=221956563943&vxp=mtr

... and that's only since yesterday morning at about 9 am. and I only quickly checked Craftsman.

when I needed to fill in my 1/4" sets, I just picked up a whole set of sockets from lowes and also a tekton set from meijers...$10 for a full set and pull the ones you need and toss the spares in the drawer...1/4" socket sets are amazingly cheap and even the low cost brands are decent quality since there is rarely much torque needed...the Lowes bluehawk set ($5 on clearance) with a ratchet is actually pretty decent and hard to tell a difference from the Kobalt's...

I've lasted many years without those socket sizes, but the OCD in me wants to have those spots filled, since I apparently have the same set of trays.

I'm thinking that I need to trim the ends of the trays to remove the troublesome spots, that would be a cheaper way to solve my problem.

Thanks guys, i appreciate all the help! I'd like to try to buy individuals, since i don't have too many to buy, but have all the others. I mean, if it would be the same price buying 6 as buying 12, of course i'd buy the whole set, but the 15 and the lowers are the ones i need, so out of a whole 10$ set, i'd be getting two or three sockets i don't have. I also should have mentioned i would like 6pt, the 12's i have but don't use.

The cheapest individual sockets I've come across are from JB Tools. Sometimes you can find even better deals on random sizes from respectable brands on Amazon.

Last I knew, Snap On only makes the 5/8 shallow 6 point.

They make the 15 mm shallow and deep in 6 point only.

You can buy individual, made in USA, SK brand, 1/4" drive, 5/8", 6-point sockets, from HJE for $4.70:

http://www.harryepstein.com/index.p...actional/sockets-1-4-standard-6-pt-26215.html

or, 4.5 mm for $4.20, also made in USA:

http://www.harryepstein.com/index.p...sockets/sockets-1-4-standard-6-pt-metric.html

or, 15 mm deep for $7.30, made in USA:

http://www.harryepstein.com/index.p...ep/sockets-1-4-deep-6-point-metric-26319.html

Coincidentally, I had use for a 4.5 mm, 1/4" drive socket during this past TG holiday!!! So, "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus"!

Yes, I did. Is that bad...? I keep finding armstrong 10-004 and 10-204 but they're never both in stock by the same company.

I got a phone call today from nathen stating that the sockets wood be shipped, I guess head throwing in a free wrench and a thank you. Does anybody know who he is? Nobody makes personal calls for their businesses anymore, it's got me intrigued.

X2. Hansen regular people and then managers should all be replaced by temp workers. This is why I don't like the Hansen trays at all. Putting these oddball and very rare sizes on all the trays on either end when they aren't standard with sets is just stupid. It just creates very annoyed customers really. You don't need those sizes on either end. You just don't! You can get them in the next set up. (4.5mm may be an exception if you really ever needed that, but that is it). Put your extensions or universal joints on those oddball Hansen spots and scratch off the label! - Paul

i needed to fill in alot of sockets i had lost over a set i had bought 25 years ago.. it was right at the point of buying the craftsman ultimate socket set, or just the missing ones.. i bought an entire new 1/4" set of craftsman off ebay cheap - cause it was cheaper to buy te set.

bought as much singles from HD (they are the cheapest individual sockets you'll find) as i could, and all the other i sucked it up and just went to sears.. the 1/2" sizes are what really add up quick - but its cheaper in the store than ebay for singles.
