Where would y'all relocate this outlet

We are getting new stone countertops in our kitchen next week. The end result will be all flat without the bar "riser". However, we'd like to keep a receptacle on this end of the peninsula. The dishwasher is so tight against the carcass that even a shallow box wouldn't fit. The bar riser is a 7" deep (exterior to exterior) space on the backside of the main countertop carcass. It's got to be built with 2x4s and plywood as the current bartop on the riser has to screw down on it. The peninsula is three sides of an octagon with the dishwasher filling the outer leg, the sink on the middle leg, and the other leg up against the wall. No good places to put an outlet on the kitchen side faces. I guess I could gnaw out a space for a box on the side of the riser space on the end?

I dunno, what are the solutions for receptacles at the end of a peninsula? Sorry for the sideways pic, trying to do this from my phone.

I'm not sure I follow you when you say the dishwasher is tight to the cabinet. It looks to me like there would be plenty or room to the side of the diswasher, several inches at least.

In a pinch there are device boxes that are like an inch deep. I have used them many times when there is a desire to have an outlet in the side of a cabinet that also has a drawer or something else that restricts depth on the other side. Best to only have a single wire going to such a box, and it will not fit a GFCI

I encountered the same exact situation on a job a few months back. Yours looks very similar. There is a 2x4 wall that will have to be cut down to the height of the cabinets. We installed the outlet in the end of the wall on the 3 1/2" side of the 2x4. Just curious though as you may have other issues. You might want to open that wall up on the back side. I'll bet your plumbing vent rises above the top of the cabinets and will also need to be changed.

@Bert, I knew about thin boxes but not the superthin like you're talking about. Will have to look into that.

@DirtyDan, I'm REAL glad you mentioned the vent. ****, that may be a significant issue. The drain goes into the riser wall then I assume down into the slab. There are no other wet lines close by. The vent line must go off to the right then up within the wall. The question is does it go up into the riser? I'll have to open up some of cabinet carcass in the back. Luckily it's just cabinet there off to the right against the wall. I thought I had an electric question! That will be the least of my worries now. Boy oh boy do I hate plumbing!

Great news @DirtyDan, it's a "self-vent" line. It vents under the sink and not through the roof. The vent cap was buried up between the sink bowls and I couldn't see it. Had to feel for it. Thanks to you and @Bert. @RBurke, a surface mount box could work but I don't want anything like that protruding out of the cabinet side. Thanks though.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled electrical forum!

If you are going to have a bartop at the regular cabinet height, fashion a fake corbel support that will accommodate a box facing the end of the cabinet

Well yeah it can't vent through the roof it's in an island right. Just thought there may be a loop vent in the wall.

Here's your electrical problem solved. Sorry about the upside down iPhone picture and for some reason I don't have a picture of the box/trim side but I think you get the idea.

It looks like there is plenty of room for an outlet behind the dishwasher. Put it in the cabinet sidewall, but at the back of the dishwasher cabinet.

Looks like there's enough room in the soon-to-be-former riser wall space behind the dishwasher to retain the gfci. That should keep me within whatever code I'm under.

Tomorrow I'll work on relocating the gfci in the pic plus the disposal switch that's also on the riser wall to allow demolition. It is near enough to the wall, so I'll position it there no problem.

Thanks y'all.

Semi-finished, but thought I'd show you where I'm at.

Pic 1 is inside the former riser. I thought there would be 2x4s in there, but only a double wall of 5/8" plywood. The old work box tabs would not span both pieces of ply so I nibbled out room for the tabs. Pic 2 shows the junction boxes for extending the romex to the new disposal switch location in upper right. The old switch was above the unused hole on the former riser wall and the existing romex was just too short to work with in the new switch location. I need to cut an access panel opposite the boxes, but that's a project for another day. Pic 3 shows the countertops on and the island gfci outlet in place and working. I still have some chingazos to fix... but who doesn't? You can see the new disposal switch in the background. I'll tile the backsplashes as soon as my wife chooses the tile.

This little project has been kinda fun. I'm jealous of y'all who can wire up whole new garages etc. Thanks to all for the advice.
