Our Lowes doesn't really do clearance sections. There are a couple places...one at the back end of the tile/flooring section for that kind of stuff, and one at an end cap near the appliances for things like cleaning supplies....but the rest of it you just have to look for the yellow tags in the products normal locations...

I’ve replaced every dishwasher in my last 4 houses with that top of the line Bosch dishwasher. They are super quiet & that is a hell of a deal!!!

They are so quiet my wife constantly opens it up when it’s running because one can’t hear it! Buy it replace what you have, after all Mother’s Day is a week away!

I have a Bosch DW running for 14 years now. That's why I like it so much. Cannot replace a working one though. There's a red light at bottom when running. Let your wife know.

Usually at Lowes the clearance stuff doesn't go to the end cap clearance section until the MST team (reset and merchandising team) does the reset for the section it came out of so you have to walk the aisles because alot of times its just the junk that makes it to the end cap.

FWIW- I was in the Marana AZ Lowe's yesterday- and the two end caps that used to have clearance stuff on them were now sporting air filters and some other stuff- No clearance end caps at that store now- I wonder what they did with all the stuff? Surely they aren't throwing it out. Maybe there will be a clearance bonanza sometime after Mother's day?

On topic: I went to my local Lowes today and they have created a clearance isle, complete with signage for each section like "under $10", "under $50", and "under $200." It wasn't the whole isle - just one side of about one half. Has anyone else noticed this in other stores?

No help to offer. The clearance stickers are the same yellow color as the "New Lower Price" and "Bulk Item Discount" products. The clearance stuff exists throughout the store, but you're looking at each yellow sticker. It's kind of annoying if you're bargain shopping. The only yellow stickers in Home Depot are for clearance stuff. Much easier to look for quickly.

My favorite Bosch deals in the last 2 years (18v cordless, blades, bits and bit sets) have been right with the normal merch.

This of course makes them easy to find if the price label is updated in yellow. Or easy to miss if not.

The one near me is now in its own section in the back of the store. I scored 5 cans of Rustoleum aluminum colored paint in the tall cans for $3/can and $4/can on the red oxide primer in the tall can. 14" bandsaw blade by Bosch for $3. Sometimes you can find great deals to flip too. Sold an in-wall heater I bought for $100 there on super clearance, listed it on eBay for $800 shipped and sold it in less than 24hrs. Others were selling for $840 or so shipped, so I just made it a little cheaper. Made a cool $620 or so in one transaction!

There is actually an official play now that is rolling out company wide,. They moved all the end caps to a consolidated area in the back of the store, usually near receiving or right before you go to outside garden. This is to help provide consistency for both the employees and customers.

The sad thing is the thought and plan are good but as usual the execution stinks. The store by me was recently done this way and half the stuff is not clearance its just stuff dumped off by lazy associates or things that were clearance and the department managers don't work their lists properly and just cycle the stuff out and the price goes back up before it can drop enough in price to sell.
When I worked there and had hardware as one of my departments the DM told me to keep it with only clearance items. I was constantly pulling other departments items that weren't clearance and giving it back to them. I would often get the "well what am I supposed do with it". I would tell them what ever they wanted as long as it did not go on the clearance section in hardware. More often then not it would pop up on the plumbing clearance end cap.

My local store has the back isle section up and signage to it, but also still has the same endcap clearance aisles near millwork as they did before??? Assuming like all things change is slow and not till its forced so until they get new endcap merchandise the clearance there will stay

My local store got rid the end caps, and made an abysmal aisle towards the back. Made mention at the old endcap. I had never been to that area of the store before, and the clearance they gathered is doing a poor job trying to bring me back 😂

My local Lowes has so little merchandise they wouldn't have much left if they moved anything to a Clearance Aisle.
Electrical and plumbing aisles look like a swarm of locusts went through them.

When I worked there they would have one endcap for some clearance items, but 80% of the clearance was still in the aisle mixed in with regular merchandise. Clearance appliances were usually out in the middle of the main aisle to get rid of them.
