Another MIA...heelsroll; haven't heard from him since mid summer. In one of his last posts, he said something about moving to Florida. Do they have the internet in FL yet?

Has anybody heard from him lately?

Moose posted in The Car Lounge forums yesterday or the day before, I read just about every post over there and recognized his screenname.

I just spoke to Moose.
He's ok is the first thing.
He's pretty fed up tho, been looking into coming across your side of the pond and it's looking very difficult and expensive.
He still has no job, although he's searching hard.
So he's taking a break from the forum, which is full of lovely tools and stuff that he can't afford, and stories about working on US cars, which is what he wants to do.
I suggested that coming back will cheer him up, but he seems to think the opposite.
I also gave him some advice as an old man to a young 'un to say that he's still got lots of time in his life to work towards what he wants to do.
I think he'll be back in his own time, probably with lots of stories about a new job and spending a fortune on tools again

I don't know that I would be enthusiastic about coming here given the present situation...but youth gives one a different outlook.

Good to hear he is OK.

If anyone gets ahold of him. Give him my best..

My old man gave me the peaks and valleys of life speech when I was 19 when I was in a 'valley'. Unemployed, my girlfriend ditched me and I was sleeping in a leaky basement on a moldy couch for a few months. Things did get better.

There are good times ahead for Moose I am sure.

All the best!
