i bought these hyperikon lights and like them, did some looking around and found these off lightup. couple bucks cheaper. any experence with them, i have 5k now and are these 5k the same

The Hyperikon is 18 watts 2240 lumens and includes sockets.
The Lightup is 22 watts and 2640 lumens and doesn't include sockets, so if you have non-shunted sockets, you'll need to source some of them.
Essentially, you "pay" for the "free" sockets.:mad:
There's no guarantee that the 5000k will match from brand to brand. They may appear different.

I ended up replacing the whole shop-light fixture with non-tube LED fixtures. They are AMAZING. You can either mount suspended on the supplied cable or you can mount the clip directly to the ceiling for a flush fit.

I know this may not be the answer to your question, but others looking for LED shop lights might prefer to switch fixtures or start with fixtures which don't need tubes you can replace.
