Ok so I am looking at a battery powered grease gun I can get the bare tool Milwaukee for $159 cause I already have Milwaukee. My other choice is the dewalt 20v grease gun which I can purchase hole kit for $200. I have used the dewalt and I really like it but have not used a Milwaukee grease gun. Is either one better then the other?

The Milwaukee 18v is a good gun. Use one at work and it's areal arm saver. Just understand you can do tens of thousands of damage with one. A local farmer gave his hired man one and had him grease the combine. Blew nearly every seal out of it.

Does it really have that much pressure??? I have one of those junky single acting pneumatic ones and it will only put grease in if the zero is really open. If it is slightly clogged....like most old farm equipment is... I have the get out the old lever gun and really put some force into it.

I only have experience with the SKF 20v cordless grease gun, and it's a great tool... That being said, it is certainly possibly to damage equipment without the knowledge of when to stop. Automatic grease guns have the ability to output a lot of pressure, more than enough to blow out a seal.

I'd stay with the battery platform you have.. ask in the Milwaukee thread, I'm sure people have em. Don't remember anything negative being said.. Milwaukee just announced a lot of new tools.. 2nd gen high torque impact too, with 1400ftlbs of nutbusting torque I believe. Cordless heat gun, new fuel ratchets..

I have the M12 grease gun and figured its all the gun I needed, the single 8000 psi setting and flow rate of 2.6 oz. per minute falls in between the 2 M18 settings of 10,000/5000 @ 3.5/1.0

The M18 does have some additional features like a counter and LED light

I use this Lincoln at work, so far I haven't had any problems with it and I use it all the time. Makes it a ton easier for stuff that requires a lot of greasing. Example...load wheels on a reach truck. Pack it with grease while you're assembling the bearings, then when you put it on the truck you pump about 20-30 pumps into it to make sure it's packed. Lincoln 18v-versus- manual gun...you'll get Popeye-strong fingers if you're doing all four wheels with a manual gun.

You'll get plenty sore too.
