I agree with the others that the 41 inch cart has more opportunities for future expansion with a top chest, end box, or side locker. We always outgrow our toolboxes.:)

I have the second one; it is flimsy and doesn't have the Griplatch® drawer retention system, either. The bottom you chose was a very good price and gives you room to grow (unless you have tons of tools!); I think a good call on a box.... there are better boxes out there for more money or used deals as well; for the money, I think yah, done good! :)

If you are on a budget, buy a used box, or a shipping damaged (a dent on the back is all some have, but watch for real damage). I bought this one for $115 with a small dent and one key.

Its quiet glide, which has been fine for me, 26-1/2 in. W x 18 in. D x 41-1/4 in. H with casters. At first I was wishing I had a 40W, but this one sure doesn't take a lot of floor space, and it is holding a heck of a lot of tools, so now I am not so sure. I am also thinking more about a top or intermediate box since the top has turned into a junk pile instead of a work place. Better to have more storage and work on a larger surface.

Bottom box is about twice as useful as that very light weight homeowners box for 250.
If you don't want to buy used, keep the big box.

I have the same one and I love so far. The are kinda small for some tool kits that come in blow molded cases. But, it is a good box.
Also the pallet that comes with it also make a good work surface and brings it more better work height for 6'10" person.
That you can take th board off the top and add some cheap pine board and stain & clear coat it. Then you have a hiding nook for books and rag. It work great so far.
