My only gripe with the regular KRL boxes is that the wide drawers should be a little wider like MAC's Macsrmiser series, but the one you are looking at has the extra wide drawers.

I am a little biased, but I would go with the KRL, personally.

That MAC box is a bit bigger with more drawers. I like the Snap on KRL better. Personal taste. Offer Snap on 8 G cash for that KRL1032 and see what happens.

I go with the tool dealer that throws in the most freebies, with a big purchase like that. lol, dude that's a hard pick, both are awesome!

Having the long drawer snap claims 500 pounds of holding capacity could this be true? As if I would not have this problem of pulling out the drawers with two hands. Should I lean more towards a krl1023 or mb19000 instead of a krl1032? Thanks for all the input I value everyones opinions

yes, snap on does claim 500 lbs+ on double slides drawers... if snap on design the widest drawer and tested it before sell to technicians and public, it is good... BUT if snap on design it and it is not good or not pass then snap on wont sell it... I like KRL series (i own KRL1203 and KRL1003) and i do enjoy work with my KRL1203 and KRL1003. i do see mac MB series but they are ok to me... i just dont like detents... i love the lock and roll latches..

I love my 1023, They draw lay out is everything I need. I turned away from mac after seeing to many horror story about the frames breaking that and they resale value is much low then a snap on box, though I never plan to sell mine anyways.

I would opt for the MB1900. That is a great box and it will hold lots of tools.

I have the MB1880 that is just below that one and it is a big box.

I have to admit that I'm biased by having a KRL but I don't think you could go wrong with it. I do think the resale value (if you ever decide to sell it) will be higher than the Mac.

gotta tell yas, just bought the 1023.nice box...but the matco 6 series looks pretty good.i liked the fact that it has six wheels, three locks, its built on a frame, and its powder coated.I bought the snappy cos, well its snap-on .box is allready cramped and the thought of removing the stainless top and adding atop or sides has me concerned with them four wheels...bill

I would not be concerned about adding a top or side lockers to a krl1023. There are a BUNCH of them out there and I have not heard of a single failure from the added weight.

I am leaning more towards the snap on...but that's just because only one person in the shop has a mac box but it's not as big. One with a krl1023 and two krl1032 old style.

Any one post pics of their boxes especially mac with drawers pics ; ) ?

Snap on ones would be awesome.

Also what does everyone think about hutches? I think I want one!

when i got cheap deal on KRL1203, i had to get KRL1003 to match. when i did, i put a lot of tools in and noticed the casters get lower. so i had asked merkava_4 to helped me and contact faultless casters then got two extra casters for much cheaper price than snap on sell for! i am glad that i did put two more casters on it and it is easy on my boxes... so i dont have to worry about it!

Ever take a peek under your box?

The extra caster mounts are already there ...

YEAH those faultless casters are wonderful, I have a set on my Matco box and am very thankful that I was able to score such a fantastic deal on them. I think that they were eBayed for $125 or so for the spring loaded 8" wheels with brakes.

Very happy with the deal.

I have a soft spot for the MB1900, Then again if Matco offered their boxes with the long drawers I would get a 6 series anyday. I love their boxes.

My money is on the Snappy.

The video might just be marketing b.s. but the "round 7" it what sold me. The way the top panel is welded makes sense, the number of welds makes sense.

I drank the kool aid and I so far I've not looked back.

no one has ever complained about buying a triple bank.
only complaint was that it was too long in a helicopter hanger.
the other complaint was they had to buy more tools to fill it up. but they didnt mind the new toys....
