Some pictures. I used the wrench once to make sure it could reach the idler pulley on my car, so any scratches you see are due to that.

The Nepros 12x14mm long box end beside a 14mm extra long Cornwell, and a ruler:

The ends, in profile:

The wrench again. What looks like a flaw in the left hand bottom corner is just a reflection. There aren't any flaws on that wrench.

so how do you like them? just asking now that you have had a few months to try them.

I got three pieces. 8x10 mm, 12x13 mm, & 14x15 mm 6-point double box.

They are about the same thickness as my raised panel Sears Craftsman combo wrench. The Craftsman is more rounded on the edge that I pull and the Nepro is less rounded so it has a flatter pulling edge. I don't feel any more or less pressure on my fingers when I pull on the wrench.

The fit to the fasteners feels a lot tighter with less play. I feel more confident with them. Maybe it is psychological. The tighter fit seems to me requires more hunt to get the wrench over the fastener. The 6 point didn't help either.

They are flat and zero offset. The box is not angled symmetrically so when I flip the wrench to the other face, the angle of the box opening is changed 30*, just like the open end of the combo wrench.

Fit and finish is fantastic. No tool marks, no blemish in the chrome. Perfect mirrored surface.

I love it. They are a bit on the expensive side. AND ... "life time exchange" if any, would be a problem. Normally, I am cheap. Sears Craftsman is about where my budget sits. I am willing to spurge a bit on this because they are a bit unique that I cannot find any other makes that have 6-point double box flat zero offset with cheaper price.

Nepros tools may seem pricey, but folks in Japan pay double the price! It retails on par or slightly above Snap-On prices. It's unquestionably the best hand tools Japan has to offer to the world. As far as fit, finish, durability, compactness, and manufacturing tolerances go, the Nepros shines above SO. The quality assurance is unlike any other hand tool manufacturer. You pay for what you get--they are the most expensive tools in the market, but you're buying the most premium-grade tools in the world (IMO).

I agree with this. Every chrome tool I ordered from Snap-on's web site arrived with scratches on it. The Cornwell wrenches I bought had scratches on them. The Nepros wrench came all the way from Japan, and it had no scratches. None.

The problem is, the single Nepros wrench I bought is so beautiful, I can't bring myself to use it. I use a Gearwrench or a Cornwell instead. Every so often I pick up the Nepros wrench and polish it with a diaper. :)

I placed an order on the Nepros.net website on April 30th. It is now May 12th. So far, I've only gotten a payment confirmation from RBS Worldpay. How long did it take for your orders to arrive?

In my case it was about two weeks. After 10 days or so I got an email with a tracking number that I couldn't figure how to use, and two or three days later the package arrived.

I recently decided to take the plunge and try out Nepros tools as they look to be of high quality. I placed my order online at nepros.net (Nepros/KTC website for US orders) on 5/20 and recieved an email reponse from Eri about processing my order on 5/20. The order was processed and I was emailed a UPS tracking number on 5/24 (there was a weekend that fell between the order placement date and ship date hence the delay). I just checked the UPS tracking information and it's going to be delivered today 5/26 :shocking:. Can't wait to check out these tools! :bounce:

Will do.

I ordered Nepros 3/8" drive sockets and extensions for a portable tool set I'm building out. My main roll cabinet is primarily Snap-on as I like the fastener fit and quality of their tools but I'd like to build this portable tool set using other brands in order to try them. I'll be getting Hazet combination wrenches and Wera screwdrivers but that's as far as I have gotten at this point.

Nepros received!

Here's a couple teaser photos. I think I might have to start a new thread here on Nepros tools since there isn't much information out there on it yet. Give me some time to put something together.

Affirmative. Actually in 3 days because the shipment originated on Monday 5/24. Ordered last Friday and received today. I paid the standard shipping fees for the order total (pricing of tools and shipping can be found on www.nepros.net) so it wasn't like I expedited it. The big factor was probably due to them travelling by air by default (Japan to US).

That is impressive.
