This isnt really a garage question but I love this forum so I'm trying here. ;-)
Not sure of the terminology here, but here is what I see:
I have :
1) In the attic is an "HVAC unit"that has a blower gas heating element and a cooling coil.
2) Outside the house is a big ground mounted Condenser and Compressor for the AC.

In the service panel I have
A) a double wide ganged 30A 2 pole breaker
B) a single 20A breaker

The question... which breaker goes to which unit? Is there an easy way to tell?
I was guessing the double pole breaker goes to the Outdoor Condenser - Compressor? But then I realized I wasn't sure...

Obligatory garage content... here is the newly labelled full panel. Just got solar a couple weeks ago and took the opportunity to re label the entire panel. The "New Garage" and the "Old Garage" are separate buildings with their own sub panels too.

You have Zinsco II (Eaton BR), and Siemens breakers in that panel, while they physically interchange, they are not UL classified to be used in each others panels, Eaton BR is listed for BR, & Challenger panels, & Siemens is listed for Siemens, ITE, & Murray, panels.

All done by licensed CA electricians and passed inspections each time.
I'm not saying it's right, I'm just being sarcastic... in my experience these guys are mostly bozos. They only care that it passes, not that it is done right.
Do you think I should change the breakers?

inspectors miss things and many electricians are clueless when it comes to these details

yes you should change them.

what brand and model is the panel? should have a label on the inside of the door

It did not look like a Siemens, so a ZInsco II it is, Eaton BR are the listed breakers for it, I much prefer Siemens but not kosher.
