Got it narrowed down to these ACs that I am considering.

My budget is only for this price range. Main use is for auto work/restoration and woodwork. Looking to buy by the end of next week. 220V won't be a problem, in the industry and already have that covered.

Dome Depot:

Lowes:

I looked at the Sears brand, but saw there were way to many negative complaints on them.

Which color do you like? They are both Campbell Hausfelds.

wow... did not even realize that... I feel really dumb...

I like red.

What about floor placement. I see some people keep the AC on the pallet while others don't.

I have the 'red' one! LOL!!! It works fine for what I need it for. You'll find though that if you use a cut off wheel or other high CFM tool, the compressor will cut in quite often.

I left mine on the pallet only becaue it was more convenient than lifting it off and mounting feet on it. Did attach a drain system to it though.

Something is goofy on their CFM ratings. The red one is rated at 10.2 CFM at 90 which is about right for a 3.2hp motor.
The blue one is rated at 5.5cfm at 90 which seems very wrong.

I don't think Lowes has their numbers right. That compressor should put out double what they advertise it to do.
