HomeDepot brought back the one day special on the Dewalt 9 piece kit and I want to get an impact wrench also. 499+cost of the impact ($159)

or
Milwaukee 9 piece kit that has the impact (I think the missing tool in this kit compared to the Dewalt is the radio which I don't really need) for $599

The Dewalt is another one day special so I need to decide in the next few hours.

My friend bought both and tested them and "he" claims the dewalt stuff is a lot more powerful.

I don't know though.

Milwaukee all the way. I have tried and used many tools on both platforms, and Milwaukee tools are generally better and ahead of the game. Their impacts specifically, just got revamped and are badass.

I'd take advantage of the 150 off buy/return deal through homedepot and go milwaukee fuel
You can probably get the brushless version of all that stuff for around the same price.

As far as impacts go the m18 high torque is one of the if not the strongest cordless impact on the market

No experience with the 18v stuff but I much prefer my m12 fuel tools to my 12v max tools. They just seem beefier, especially the drill.

I've yet to use a dewalt tool that I felt was better than a competitors version in the same price point.

Not sure what happened to HD pricing but this shows up at $999 now.
