makse sense to cut on pull. the blade will be straight from tension and you will have more muscle control i think.

Hacksaw blades cut on the push stroke. You are standing above the piece being cut plus the angle of the saw dictates that you have more pressure cutting on the push stroke. If you were cutting on the pull stroke, you are lifting the saw and losing pressure. But as Zeke or someone mentioned, you are supposed to lift the saw after every cut stroke. If you look at a power hacksaw they work on the same principle, push to cut, lift, repeat.

Now that's not saying that you can't reverse the blade and cut on the pull stroke. There are situations that may make it necessary to reverse the blade or even put the blade in upside down to make a cut.

How do you load the Toilet Paper in the roll holder Over the top or backwards out the back?

I am with Torque on the teeth doing the work on the pull stroke. More control and less chance of damaging part of self..

The way the toilet paper goes on the roll is dependent on whether you own a cat or not that like to unroll the TP for shits and giggles. Over the top the cat can unroll the complete roll, over the back he can't :lol_hitti

Read my post above, I am all for Out of the back and down, But Cleopatra sure did shred many rolls of TP.
I have to keep it locked up, although I took a chance with the paper towels in the kitchen, and she so far has left those alone.

Not necessarily so, we have 4 indoor cats and in the past 8 years they have yet to unroll the paper rolled over the top. They have plenty of toys to keep their interest. Unrolling TP is a sign of a bored cat.
