Went to Home Depot to look at the grinders before I start my project. There's two different kinds. One you have to rent the grinder and wheel separately.($110/4hrs) The other one already has the wheel attached.$(65/4hr) Which one do I need?

Here is the $65 one. Is that all i need? This is newly poured concrete, btw. Also, how long do i need to wait to grind?

Diamabrush concrete prep tool mounted to clarke sander if its raw concrete. Power troweled? Get the Edco with 10" diamond wheel.

Go with the Edco, no comparison as to the grinding results you will get.

A tip about these two grinders as they both work well. Garage floors are not always troweled as nicely as interior concrete floors when it comes to creating a fairly flat surface. Many garage floors can be slightly wavy.

If you have a floor that has slight waves or small high and low spots close together, the Diamabrush is the better choice. It will follow the contours of the surface better to achieve a more consistent grinding profile. The Edco machine will not and you can end up with areas (usually the low spot of the waves) that do not get ground as well.

If your floor is fairly flat, then the Edco works great as well, especially with power troweled floors as Scotty said.
