Hello I have a 28x52 with attic truss new construction all insulated doors and windows attic floor ceiling I’ll be insulated but not the truss as well as all the walls leaning toward rockwool r30 in ceiling and r23 in walls. I’m in northern ny where it’s windy and cold What size btu unit would I need look toward a mr heater big maxx, or a reznor which one does everyone recommend or is there something else I’m missing thanks

IMHO, Resnor heaters have been around as long as I can remember. The others are unknown to me.

Big Maxx , Mr Heater, Hot Dawg, Sterling are very common names in areas where it’s cold. Many sold at Northern Tool, Menards, Home Depot and online.

The propane’s would be hanging heaters, the split system would be the electric wall mounted unit but the electric isn’t the cheapest around here I have electric baseboard heaters in my house and heat with wood pellets because of the cost
