if i got a makita lxt cordless drill 18v with hummer from the Makita sales girl i would stay with the Makita brand.
first you have to figure out what you need it for if using for auto get 1/2 impact wrench if using for hobby and home get a impact driver two very different tools look closely at both.
hope this helps

Do you want to go with 2 battery system the makita and metabo?

If not the 141 has more torque then the 140 by a little if that is important.

Hi, great adventure,

be quick and check this one @ eBay 251026803920, seems to be a good deal.
Regular retail price in Germany is around 500. EURO, which is about 650.-$
I bought mine used at 250.-EURO / 325.-$ and even at this price it is worth every penny.
The balance in your hand is so perfect that you can almost hold it without closing fingers. Make sure that the right batteries come with it, this is what makes it soo expensive. And don't compromise, you need the LTX - with 18Volts and the Quick release chucks...

Good luck !

I worked in the fixture building industry for about two years, traveling around running crews installing fixtures in newly built department stores...

Needless to say I got an incredible amount of use out of my impact drills... I had 8 Makitas that I had to bring to the jobs for my crew and also for temp workers to use.... These drills got incredible amounts of use and I never had a problem with any of them.

They were also very lightweight and had a clip to easily hang from your beltloop/pocket which was very convenient. It always amazed me at how much those drills went through and I never a one single little problem with any of them. They held a charge well and were EXTREMELY dependable.

I would definitely reccomend them to anyone... and that is coming from a guy who used Dewalt for years prior to getting the Makitas... So I am totally sold!

I saw the web site of ebay but this is not the one I been looking fore??
the one I need is bs 18v ltx quick.....quick releasing the chuck
which means switching from drill to impact driver with the same drill machine

ops.. thats also a good idea (2battery system...)

do you mean if i buy metabo i cannot exchange batteries between
drill and cordless..

thank you

Yup, the 2 brands are not interchangeable. So you can not share the batteries you already have with the makita with the metabo.
