Normally wear a knocked about, 4" PST, that I got decades ago ... Its on its third pouch I think.

... nasty little thing, with no, secure locking mechanism - thats cost me some skin over time .. .. :D

Also have an old, slightly bigger, 4.5" Super Tool that gets worn when on camping trips ... The locking mechanism annoys me ..

Do like the little C33LX, when I dont need a toolkit on the belt, tho ..

I've gone through several gerbers in the past. I never liked the idea of having to unfold my pliers with both hands. two years ago I lost my last gerber and got a Leatherman Sidekick as a replacement. I absolutely love the built in pocket clip. I carry it in my back pocket right next to my wallet clipped on and I never have to dig for it. I like how the knife blade is on the outside so I don't have to open it to use it.

I carry a leatherman wave in a custom open top leather holster/sheath . the wave is the best overall multitool for too many reasons to list. buy one if you don't have one.

Have three or four leathermans most are discountinue models but my main carry is a PSTII
PSTII was a replacement from leatherman as I sent my original Leatherman in for repairs after 10+ years of use, but since it was a retired tool it was not repairable so a upgrade replacement was sent. I wasnt happy to lose the original but they did send a "upgrade" tool at no charge with leather case.
Moral of story if you break a retired tool and send it for repair you wont be getting that tool back.

Supertool 300 black, I never leave home with out it:)

I also have a kick I keep in my back pack.

The best part about Leatherman is the warranty break it send it in, I have couple of times they sent a new one every time.

My FIL has had the BLAST forever and wouldn't live without - but then he's a farmer and lives in jeans with a belt. I have a couple Leatherman's, but they stay in drawers or in the car.

I just got a the Steady - it has a tripod - for taking photos in the shop!

My last reply was over a year ago. Still using the Blast daily. It got a lot of packages open and tags cut yesterday, tightend a few doorknob plates at thr inlaws new house too. Wife stopped me when in started tweaking striker plates. $1M and a bathroom dooe that can't latch?
