Which M12 tool.....

I got paid with HD gift certificates for a heater core I did, which M12 should I get to go with my 1/4 hex and 1/4 Fuel impacts I already have?

I am looking at the rotary tool and sawzall so far. The sawzall (Fuel) looks bulky and awkard, and input on that by someone who has it?


Any other suggestions on what to get next? I already have a SO 3/8 cordless so that's out.....

I say either the ratchet , the fuel hackzall, the right angle impact driver, or stick light,.. If you are a mechanic then definitely the ratchet first.

I like those little right angle 3/8 drills. They make a half *** ratchet with the drive adapter and are handy for odd drilling jobs. I use mine for drawer slides in cabinets and as a slow screw gun-ratchet.

I have bought a lot of the M12 line and the most used piece is the LED stick light. Can't think of how many times I just leave it on under a car or hanging from the hood of a car. Very handy.

The ratchet is another good one. Makes for easy tight access socket turning.

The rotary tool is very limited, but if you're something like a model builder, maybe.

The vacuum is a disappointment.

I'd say the 1/4" ratchet to go with your present 1/4" collection.

How big is the 1/4? I have 1/4 and 3/8 Snap On air versions, and it looked like the M12 1/4 was kind of bulky compared to pnuematic.

The M12 is a little longer than the Snap-on FAR25A but it is definitely smaller than the FAR72C.

What kind of power does the fuel 1/4 have? Is it the same body/power as the 3/8?
The length is what looked longer than my FAR25A, but cordless would be nice.....

I've got the M12 Fuel Hackzall. It's a little bigger than the brushed model, but certainly not large or unwieldy. The videos I watched showed that the Fuel model cut faster and longer enough to be worth the extra cost and size.
