I know there are some SK nuts on here.Hell. There's more nutsez here than at the Planters headquarters :p
What's the cleanest(best polished chrome, tightest, smooth etc) 3/8" flex they ever made ?
I "could" go with a bent flex but rather get the straight flex.
Best not be too choosy.:dunno:
What to look for ? Diamonds,Triangles,Dots,Wayne

Since it sounds like you do a fair amount of polishing, I will say the early 3870 doesn't seem to be a high-polish chrome like a 90s version.

Yeah, I do a little.I have a drawer that is mostly good to excellent examples of some of the better stuff from days past. Seldom used or only by me on the bench .
When you find a clean sample it's best to grab them because the majority are beat to hell. It'll be a badass great grankdkid kit one day.
I missed a KILLER 1/4 Snappy(71?) a while back.:sad:Unused

I forgot about that old SK roto. Those are pretty slick too. I had the standard type in my head. OK. Both now :lol_hitti
Thanks. Next ?

none of the above. find one with deep, sharp knurling and it will be good. the newer smooth shallow knurling *****.
