As stated, if you ever have to make the decision you wasted all that time with the wrong person. That's all there is to it.

Got rid of her 29 years ago, still have the same shop that she told me "I guess you'll have to sell". One of the better things that happened in my life, although it wasn't pleasant in the beginning. She never put a dime into anything - I worked my tail off doing the "providing" while she was around... Never again. Problem solved.

If it came down to me having to choose between the wife or the shop, I'd choose the shop... by that time I would have had to screw up so bad with the wife that there would be no fixing that relationship.

I've been married for 15yrs. My wife "is along for the ride". I control the money and she allows me to do whatever I want. From cars, guns, motorcycles, and my 28x30 finished garage to stopping at the ********** (when business warrants) she lets me do as I please. It's a two way street and I make sure she has what she wants as well. My house is paid off as well as my three cars and Harley Roadglide. No debt is the name of the game. I've been blessed with a fabulous wife and son.

When was the last time your garage left you/pissed you off/wouldn't shut up? We have Molly Maids, the Roomba, and the dishwasher. I only see one purpose left for women anymore....The only con-I've spent more on it that any other woman :)

My wife uses mine nearly as much as I do. I'm sitting here at work, and she's working on her projects at home. I'd live in a studio apt as long as she was there with me.

Wife without a doubt, my shed is MY place, I could get another ***** in a heartbeat. If the wife tried to take MY shed then it would be another matter all together, bang, bang, bang, dig, dig, Hello is that the police? I haven't seen my wife for a few days and I'm starting to get worried..........

Very True! You only have "YOUR" shed but a wife is just random stranger you married , not even your own flesh and blood.

My shop has doubled in size since my EXwife went "down the road".

man, dont even get me started on this one.

As soon as the wife become an EX, shop got an injection of Growth Hormone that even Lance Armstrong will be scared of. The number of tools and girlfriends went up exponentially, as did the amount of time spent in shop and bedroom. :3gears: Happiness quotient skyrocketed.

If you are asking me to choose between chocolate and vanilla, I choose Strawberry.

And Chocolate.

And Vanilla.

Mine wouldn't ask me to get rid of my shop. If I did, I'd have no place to work on stuff for the house and I'd be in the house all the time. . . on her nerves & in her way. :D

The shop for sure! My wife is awesome, she gives me all the time I want in the shop. Heck... sometimes she gets upset when I come back in. :D

Don't follow what you said. The draw back is your garage cost more than nay woman? You got off cheap.
