Are you wanting a solvent based washer or one that uses the tree huger green water based cleaners? How much room do you have for it and what is your budget? I recently got a smoking deal on a huge solvent based washer from my Snap On dealer as the one I ordered was backordered and this one was collecting dust. Someone else pointed out to me that it was built by Build-all.com . Sure enough, there it is on their site for about the same price I paid through SnapOn as a bargain.

I have had the **** quality washers in the past. Wanted to step up to a filtered, drum or base mounted unit. Mine is the largest base mounted one on the site linked.

I recently used a new heated parts cleaner that used a fluid from CRC, that is "green". I was surprised how well it worked, and one of the nicest parts of using it, was that even though I wasn't wearing gloves, it removed caked on grease with little effort, and I could just wash the "stuff" off of my hands with warm water. It also didn't dry out my hands as so many of the solvent based cleaners do. The only fault that I could find with it was that every 15 minutes the pump would shut off automatically, and I had to reset it. I guess that they don't want the pump running unless it is being used. If it were not for the cost, I would buy one for my shop. A number of years ago, I was given one for free, since the heater failed, and the manufacturer replaced the entire unit to the customer. Had I known how well they work, I would have improvised some type of heater to get it working. I sold it on Craigslist, just to get it out of the shop. Live and learn.

I have a 48" Build-All (BAC) like the one posted above. It's a little big for a home garage, but I love it. I picked it up for a great price on Craigslist.
