Which pipe connector for cpvc?

So I have a new water heater I am installing.

Regular metal pipes coming out the top of the unit.

Looks like it has heat traps already installed into the lines.

I can do a threaded plastic insert, or a brass insert bonded to CPVC.

My house is all CPVC.

So which would you go with? I bought some of each, but the all plastic ones are much cheaper.

Does it matter which one I screw into the brass valve?

this is the only fitting i can find that will not leak going from copper /brass to cpvc, the cpvc threaded will leak going into the brass /copper transition

be careful of the cpvc it gets really brittle as it ages , i have it in my laundry /garage area and going to replace it all this summer with pex

My whole hose is CPVC.

I was going to put adapters coming out of the wall and then do all copper for the hot water heater.

Then I figured the PVC has lasted 10 years, then it should last another 10.

The metal/cpvc adapter is steel, the valve is brass, and the pipes coming out of the water heater are steel.

I don't want to deal with galvanic corrosion though, so now I am wondering if the steel/brass valve is a bad idea.

I am putting in 3 valves with T fittings that would allow me to hook the conventional water heater back up in the event I had issues with the heat pump water heater. I am keeping the original water heater just in case I need it as backup, but plan on disconnecting it and putting it in the shed.

I like the copper /CPVC transition fitting he has here.

It it were my home I would use a glue on CPVC ball valve a male adaptor after it and those SS flex connector fittings.

Plastic pipe is junk in any form and it all hardens and snaps with age. Even the PEX will some day be doing that.

Well, I have had my share of pin holes in my copper over the years, and pipes don't freeze in Florida.

Just go to home depot and get shark bites or go down to lowes and get gator bites they are the easiest to use then you can go from copper to cpvc with out soldering. use the brass to cpvc adapter not the all the plastic ones.
