Which ratchet would you keep?

Got the black hawk handle a long time ago, then today the husky showed up at a yard sale for a buck. The question is which one should get the guts?

Why not both? The teeth are in the head and will wear out. Then swap? It's not worth anything to sell the other.

Absolutely the Blackhawk.

Unless it's your only ratchet, I seriously doubt you'll ever hear out the teeth in the head.

Good point. Should have been more clear. Depending on current condition, one could be better than the other aka more worn. If one is heavily worn or becomes that way the other is on hand.

My generalized answer without any context or bearing on the situation is KEEP ALL THE RATCHETS. Also GET ALL THE RATCHETS.

Both! You're asking in the wrong forum - this aint the "Minimalist tool forum".
I'd switch the guts back and forth every few months for the heck of it. I will say the Blackhawk handle looks better in my opinion. I got one a few weeks ago for $3.00 at a flea market. It didn't work well but it was just full of dirt. After cleaning and lubing it looks almost new and works very well.
