Im looking for the best nicest rolling gravity stand for my Dewalt dws 780. I need it to store in the vertical position. The Bosch Gravity stand seems to be the best so far. Thanks for the help guys

I also have the DW780. The Bosch stand is very nice but I couldn't justify the price. I ended up buying the Ridgid Universal Mobile Stand when it was $99 at HD. Wheels around easily and stores in vertical position when needed. Might not have the rise assist of the Bosch but was 1/3 of the price.

Second the Ridgid MSUV. Seemed high at the original price, but for the $99 closeout it was a steal. Yes, it stores vertically, quite sturdy, pretty light. I don't know whether they still make them-I got mine something like 6 or 7 years ago.

I've got the Bosch on my 12". I got it about 14 months before Bosch introduced the articulating arm model instead ot the traditional slider.

I've also got the Dewalt atavuss referenced under my Fein 8". It is 10 to 15 yrs older it works great too, but I think for a larger saw it would take more muscle involvement to raise and lower over the Bosch. It was originally a Porter-Cable model rebadged since being bought out.

I don't like the my Bosch's original tubeless tires. If they still sell them that way pickup a pair of the airless wheels. I don't know why it took me a few years to break down and get them. In the shop I always have air handy but out and about it is sometimes a pain dealing with a flat or near flat tire.

I just got my Dewalt 779, which is the same as the 780 except for the blade guide light setup (forget what it’s called), and put it on the new, larger wheeled Ridgid MSUV. Price the same as the Dewalt, but I read some reviews on the Dewalt assist getting stuck, went with Ridgid. I really like the large wheels, I really like it overall actually. A little tricky to get the saw mounted, I ever so slightly modified the mount so I didn’t have to use a board mounted to the mount, but overall, pretty happy. Can be a little hard to unfold, but not terrible.

Also have the Ridgid MSUV $100 special. The newest model has larger wheels that go up and down stairs very easily. I can't believe how much I like it. Highly recommended.

Oh and be careful looking at the reviews/rating at homedepot.com. Somehow the sliding Ridgid miter saw reviews got merged with the saw stand. So pretty much all of the poor reviews are directed at a miter saw with blade wobble and not the stand itself.
