It looks like Sears offers at least 3 different Li-Ion batteries for their 19.2v cordless tools. What's the best way to go since I have to replace my batteries anyway? My apologies if this is a repeat topic.

I've got the 4Ah battery (XCP I think) when I killed 2 of my NiCads. It was a little more expensive but 2x the runtime of the other Lithium and it was a no-brainer. The XCP one has the battery gague and the cheaper ones have nothing. That alone is worth it to me.

The battery size isn't important to me, I'm just looking for good value.

Go for the new 4AH XCP battery if size is not a concern. Close to $90, but it'll last longer than the next largest lithium (2.6AH)

At times Sears offers the 4ah XCP battery on sale ... best time to buy. Check whether your charger is compatible with the Li-ion batteries; you need a mixed chemistry charger.
