For those of you that have used the self-solder **** connectors for strand wire or have trade knowledge, are there any specific name brands or sources to avoid the cheap Chinese “knock-off” products?

I use marine grade with heat shrink adhesive, crimp or solder myself. Pull test and meter test when complete. Strain relief when needed. Lasts for many years.
Use the same for race car wiring.
I do avoid the knockoffs. I shop genuinedealz.com, ancor and here is a web page that will tell you all about crimp, solder and each vs. the other.
