Good afternoon.
I enjoy restoring small tools. I just used another manual wirebrush to the handle. I prefer steel ones as the do not leave the yellowish color on the tools.
Please let me know which company you use and where you buy it.
I prefer to get rid of rust manually, but also use evaporust on some objects if I am afraid to damage the emblems or I suspect that wirebrushing will scratch it too much...
Please enjoy my new tool. It was saved from the scrap pile in the dump by one of my neighbours (he knows I enjoy restoring tools and brought this to me after seeing it in the pile). Sorry, no before picture - just imagine it very rusty and covered with old, dirt and other staff. It's not done yet, but you get the idea - I really like the Klein emblem on this one (was a pleasant surprise!)
