Which Snap-On/BP drill bits with student discount?

I know they might be branded snap-on but actually other brands,

but keep in mind im getting half off here.

I already half a left hand cobalt set for extracting

what would you recommend for drilling metals all around? i want them to last and i know how to sharpen on a grinder.

Between those, the 2nd choice but they are over priced IMHO even with the discount. Check out Enco or the other machine shop suppliers, they have good sales on common size sets. HSS USA made bits. If you really enjoy sharpening purchase a used set off ebay.

I'm not sure where they are made today, but I have a set of dewalts that came in a yellow folding case that are USA made and are my go to set for the hand drill, which is what I assume you will be using these in?

Actually I plan on using them on hand drills and even drill press in the future. All around use. I haven't bought a drill yet but since I already have the 18v lithium impact snapon I'm thinking about getting the hammer drill too

Do you think that with the student discount the hammer drill 18v lithium is good? If I already have the impact gun same batteries too?

Buy the drill and quit bragging about your discounts. It's a fine drill if you want cordless. I don't really care for hammer drills, but the Snap-On 18v tools are fine. Snap-On cordless tools generally last a long time.

The Thunderbits are a really nice drill. Save yourself come cash, and buy them under their parent brand, Triumph. The 29 pc set goes for roughly $100.
