I have a few Snap On bearing separators (CJ-949 and CJ-950) like the one below. Each has a pair of holes in its face to attach rods/bolts and a gear puller. However, I can't figure out from the Snap nn puller manual which puller(s), puller sets, or rods/bolts these are supposed to be compatible with. Does anyone know?

You can use the two jaw style pullers (I love my CJ2002 set) and hook the jaws onto the flat sides of the bearing separator, or you can find the correct size bolts and use them in the slots of the beam of the two jaw puller if they'll fit. You can also use the bolt type pullers.

full-blown set-up from OTC:

you can find just the yoke with the main drive screw separately. you'd have to come up with long bolts to put the thing to use, but that would be the best low-budget route:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Owatonna-To...:g:Qc0AAOSwLnBXW1TL&item=112109765570&vxp=mtr

you get the idea... you'd have to check the spread on the bolt holes on your splitter and make sure the yoke's wide enough to work for you.

the bearing won't care if you're using two different brands of pullers.

( check Ebay listings for Owatonna puller, OTC puller, Herbrand puller )
