no way around it, the hard handles were the best. easy to clean, tons of colors to choose from, can take hammer abuse most of the time and easy to find and fits good in your hand.
the rubber ones attract oil and grease and they get sticky and hard to clean. not to mention the oil deteriorates the rubber edges. i have pictures to prove and the snapon dealer WILL NOT replace them even though they are falling apart from oil????
I'm trying to find the tri handle ones. Had them some time ago as part of my set and liked them. Would like to get a complete set of those.I guess this is whats being sold right now:
