Which stick on wheel weights?

I've read several threads from guys that have their own tire machines. Anyone have any recommendations for stick on wheel weights? I bought some at Harbor Freight that seemed decent, but after running out I didn't want to drive an hour to the nearest HF, so I bought a large box from Advance Auto Parts. These absolutely ****. They don't stick well at all. I want to buy some to replace these, but after this experience and the fact that I spent $30+ on these I want to make sure I don't repeat this mistake. What brand do you guys use?

I use the ones from NAPA at work.. They're available in .25 and .50 oz increments. They have nice thick tape on them that sticks well. I don't think they're as cheap as the ones you got from harbor freight though.

Those Plombco are the exact ones I got from Advance that are horrible. Those are the one I'm looking to replace. I still have about 1/4 a box left, but I'm soo fed up with them I'm ready to just toss those and get something better.

That's interesting… mine have been holding just fine. I did get them a few years ago. They always leave bits of foam tape on the rim when I need to remove them. I do clean up the area were they will be applied either with wax/grease remover or brake cleaner.

That's how every other weight I've used has been, but these just pop right off. I wonder if I'm now wondering if I got a defective batch. I clean the area with brake cleaner first and then try to stick these on. If they do stick, you can pop them right off without them leaving any tape behind. Half of the time they don't stick at all.

The HF ones you would have to pry off and they would leave tape residue behind.
