That's an air disk sander, they come in many sizes from about 2" to 8" with most being in the 5" or 6" diameter.

It's an air sander, high speed, discs range from 3" to 6".

They call that a surface prep tool. I think the disk is 3". That is a very good and very quiet tool. I've had that exact model since 98' or so, been very reliable. They accept standard 3M roloc disks.

Looks more like a high speed sander or polisher to me. Maybe with a 3" roloc disc.

If you're just removing paint or shaving metal. Get a 6" dual action sander and click it in grind mode. Then you can have two tools for the price of one.

HMmm this porter cable PTs2 isn't rolloc right ?

How that rolloc holds the sandpaper? I never used that.. that's my main question hehe

The roll loc backing plate has a threade hole that the diskc thread into with a threaded plastic post on the back
