I have a 16600 as well. I really like it and last I checked they were one of the only "40mm" (they're actually more like 39mm) five digits that isn't crazy overpriced.

They do wear tall though, and the dial is smaller than a Sub or GMT2.

Yes I have one too, it’s my daily watch which I mostly wear on a strap. They do wear tall, but after time I became used to it. I suppose it’s a small watch compared to modern watches and does look narrower than my Sub. I believe the dial is 1mm less diameter than 5 series Sub and GMT

OP, I like to collect discontinued Australian tools and brands.
Minimax is a discontinued Aussie brand which sell quite cheaply on Ebay, all their tools are from quality manufacturers.
I always buy tools I actually like to use, therefore my collection is a variety of brands that I feel make the best of that type of tool.
I don’t buy for investment, though I hope my Australian made Sidchrome might grow in value one day.

After quite some searching, I finally bought the first set of tools just for collection. Maybe as gifts to people who can appreciate them. Anyway, this is what I got for $65.

Any comments? The set is mint. The owner literally bought it and kept it in garage for 15 years and sold it to me. Looks brand new. He was not sure about the exact age though. Hopefully someone here can help me. Thanks in advance.

A pair of weird looking wrenches also came with the socket set. Never seen them before. I paid$65 asking price partially due to curiosity toward them. Are they gimmicky tools?PXL_20201001_165547121.MP.jpeg

how about some tools to fix the tools you already have?

or to organize them with - boxes, socket rails, etc.

I have the same wrench but branded differently it’s not the best but it’s decent and has saved the day a couple of time using it in other ways holding Allen keys and stuff like that due to the wider lockish head

Cool. I also have a cman copy of the bionic wrench that can grab all six sides. The previous owner obviously intended to use them to replace common wrenches

They're gimmicky for their intended purpose, but actually are good for holding punches/chisels.
