Which VCT Tile color shows scuff marks worse??

I have researched this excellent site for VCT installations, and that is the route I am planning to take this summer for my garage floor. I want to put down a black and white checkerboard pattern on the motorcycle half of the floor, and another color, preferably black, on the remainder. Then use VCT flooring sealer. I want to avoid the floor being too slippery during wet conditions, so I am going to lay down a BLT channel mat for parking my car upon. Then I can move the mat for my other hobby.....I'm a dance tap, and will be using the heated garage for a practice studio. So my question is which VCT color shows scuff marks worse? I have done some dancin' on grey VCT and you can really see the black scuff marks, which is why I am considering going completely black on the half of the garage I will be hoofin' on. What are the disadvantages to an all-black tile?
Any suggestions? thanks
