Which wall cabinet would you prefer and why?

Things are moving a mile a minute in my garage facelift. Like Maverick said, "You don't have time to think. If you think, you're dead." that's my life right now. I rushed off and bought a Husky box at HD. Last one and the sale literally ended, as I was making the purchase. 1:30 On a Saturday, go figure. I have another Husky box being shipped to me tomorrow and am off to HF to grab swivel caster wheels for that.

Anyway, I had family over, which sort of helped with the Husky, but I need to sort things out before the weekend.

I currently have a sliding door wall cabinet. 27H x 30W x 17D.

I'm opting for a rolling Gladiator rolling cabinet and their Premier wall cabinet is tempting. 30W x 30W x 12D.

It's the 12D that has me concerned. On one hand, I like the 17D of my current (empty) cabinet. But I like the easier access of the swinging doors on the 12D. Both cabinets will lat my lifetime, especially the Cole cabinet I now have.

I know the obvious question is, what do I you plan to put in the cabinet? I'm just not sure and don't really have time to sort that out yet. I was first thinking power screwdrivers and other "cased" tools, all of which would fit in a 12D, but at the same time, I has to "waste" any space. This cabinet would go above the 35x25 Gladiator rolling cart

If you go with Gladiator, go with the Premier...much more sturdy.

When I was in the market, I went with the 72x48x18 "Jumbo" Gladiator Box...and it is very flimsy for it's size. Says it is wall-mountable however I don't trust it enough.

I'm looking at the Gladiator Premier 30x30 wall cabinets as well, I have put my hands on them and they are solid.

Thanks. i actually did exactly that. I wanted to take advantage of the 30% off, so I grabbed one Gladiator Premier wall cabinet and one floor cabinet. My plan is to put wood on top of the floor cabinet and use it for my grinder.

On a side note, I think drones are air dropping these shipments. The wall cabinet had a small dent on top. Who cares about the top, but these cabinets aren't cheap. I haven't taken it all the way out yet, so fingers crossed.

I had a double pack of LED shop lights shipped from BJs and one end of the box was opened! No tape, etc. In fact, there was no foam or anything inside the box. The other box, the chains and mounting hardware were flying around loose inside the box. However, they are undamaged and work like a champ...go figure.

I've ordered the following from HD in the last year:
Gladiator 6ft workbench - shipped UPS...arrived mint
Gladiator 6ft workbench - shipped by someone I've never heard...top CRACKED
Gladiator Jumbo Box - shipped UPS...arrived mint
Gladiator Bench with understorage - shipped by the other company...destroyed

HD took care of it, but a huge pain.

Funny, UPS delivered my cabinet. Younger guy, nearly sweating to death. Box was half torn open as he carried it up the driveway. We both laughed about it. Honestly, looking at the two small dents that I've found, I doubt either happened in shipping.

My roller cabinet I pick up from HD next week. Fingers crossed...
