Interested in a wall mounted vacuum. Looking at the Hoover GUV but not sure what else is out there. Never owned one. Would like to use it vacuum cars and clean the house garage.

What do you recommend?

I've got the GaragePro. It's "ok". Doesn't have the suction I had hoped for, although I enjoy having a long hose to get all over the place with. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. If it had twice the suction, it would be a solid unit.

I have the store and go in the link above.
I added an 8 dollar hose and it now has a sixteen foot long hose.
I'm not sure length of hose is a deal closer when hose is so inexpensive.
I would have to have a very small garage and a whole lot of patience to put up with a wall mount that wasn't portable.

Here is my set up. Cox reel with 75' of hose too. Reaches whole shop, boats and driveway for cars...

Got the vac on Amazon...

I use a GarageVac from Vacuumaid. I just coil the hose in a Gladiator Cabinet.

I want to use the hide-a-hose system with a central vac. I haven't tried it but it looks like central vacs that are wet dry are VERY expensive. The hide-a-hose system is good for lazy people like me and it uses the suction to retract the hose within the pipe. Its part of my grand plan for my garage!
