Which Way Does The Snap On Lock Cam Go?

Replacing the missing locks on a Snap On KR1000a tool box. Does anyone out there know which position the notched lock cam is installed to activate the lock rod? I know, seems too simple to not be able to figure out. A photo or sketch would be greatly appreciated. I can't put the drawers back in until I solve this mystery. Please help! Thanks

isn't the lock hole 'd' shaped ?
so the lock only goes in one way.....assemble the rods to the cam,
unlocked it goes vertical, try it pointing up 1st (it might not clear pointed down)

operate the lock away from the box, while testing the position

Probally came without instructions.If you know anyone that has that same toolbox,look at that one how it goes in as a referance.
