I have recently come across some " easy" money and was considering one of two options to spend it on.
Option 1:
K&N cold air intake filter kit for my 2002 gmc

OR

Option 2:
One Gerber (viper??)toilet installed by a plumber. It is chair height and elongated which would be a huge improvement over current throne. Supposedly hard to plug and no need for double flushing?

Any thoughts?

Well, for that seat of the pants feel......go for the Gerber. You'll have it much much longer than the truck. As a friend of my fathers always told me, as you get older the most satisfying feeling in the world is a good healty ****. Might as well make it as comfortable as you can and get the full experience.:rocker:

Split the difference. Put a K&N drop in filter in the factory box and still buy the toilet. Not sure of the price of the toilet, but you can find those filters at Advance Autoparts and just use a coupon code on it to get the price down. Mine was around $50 for my ranger.

Unless you enjoy cleaning air filters stick with the OEM filter. Theirs nothing cold that I can see about a tube and open filter sucking heat soaked air from the engine compartment. The aftermarket open Filter has less restriction due to the lack of ducting ect that restricts air intake on the OEM but that OEM configuration allows a much greater service interval than the super duper, billet, chrome, anodized, big hoarse power, better fuel milage, "power adder".

By the pooper! Just my .02...
