Can someone explain which WD40 would be best to protect my hand tools from loosing their finish? I recently picked up a few quality Knipex pliers. (along with all my other hand tools such as my polished chrome wrenches and what not) And well, i'd like to keep them from loosing their appearance and protected. I live in a high humidity part of the country, and my tools are all in tool chest drawers.
This day and age, there's
WD40 Specialist Spray & Stay Gel Lubricant
WD40 Specialist Rust Release Penetrant Spray
WD40 Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant Spray
WD40 Protective White Lithium Grease Spray
WD40 Long Term Corrosion Inhibitor
and lets not forget good ol fasion WD40 multi use.
Who can tell me, which one i really need and for what application?... Also i don't mind getting them all, if i could fully understand, which one for what application...... Like what does white lithium do better vs silicone spray ?? and why do i need it over the multi use ?
