We got a new hoist about three years ago.
The installers were supposed to came back to fix a hydraulic leak that was there from the beginning and now were having problems with a strong snapping noise somewhere on the chain we think.
The guide rollers on the front two posts are showing signs of misalignment as the chain runs tight to one side of them.
One guide roller is showing strong signs of excessive wear on its' surface.
All four rollers on the front of the floor ramps are shot.
They never came equipped with grease fittings.
We called several times to have these problems corrected and the leak fixed but to date they never came to service the hoist.
The inspector will not approve this hoist for further use until the company honors the warranty and repairs this hoist.
My very livelyhood is being threatened by this hoist manufacturer's negligence
to respond to our concerns regarding this WHIP INDUSTRIES HOIST..

I bought my Whip a couple years ago and it suffered some minor damage in shipping. They sent me replacement parts and touch up paint and paid for 2 day shipping.

It sounds like you have an issue with your installer and not Whip.

I certainly wouldn't have waited 3 years to fix a leaking hydraulic line when my very livelyhood was being threatened.

Interesting 1st post though:headscrat
