Has anyone seen a proto tool box in white before?
I ask because a few months ago I came across what I thought is a rarity on zoro. The 67" 450 series rolling workstation is pictured as red but the description clearly says white color. Even the PN indicates the color is white because it ends in the letters "WT" whereas other proto boxes end in BL for blue, RD for red and so forth.
Once I realized the color description is white and not what the picture was showing, I started to contemplate a white tool chest instead of blue. For a few months I drooled over web images of white SO and Mac boxes. Over those months the unique color grew on me and seems like it'll be a color that will stand the test of time. Sure it will get dirty easily and show grease streaks, but I'm never above grabbing a wipe-off cloth if I think it's getting too disgusting. Anyways, when it is clean the white just seems so neat and almost sterile to me. It looks "sharp" to say it best.
So today I jumped on a promo code opportunity and ordered the white tool box. Of course I confirmed that it is indeed white and not red like the picture on the site. I'm really excited to receive the new chest, especially since I feel like I'll be the only kid in town with a white proto chest. At least for now; white may be the new popular standard color for proto in the near future for all I know. I will update once it's here.
