Now i am thinking about selling my gen 1 HF 44" box and finding some white tool boxes and cabinets, maybe even making some work benches like Stevo to line the wall. Maybe even take my tall steel two door cabinets and paint them a gloss white too.

The closest thing i can find are the 46" husky cabinets in white - and for the price might be the best option to do built ins. I think these would look great with a cutting board wood top, or stainless.

Am I crazy? Should i quit using so much brake cleaner?

I love white boxes. Our local SO guy tried to sell me on one of his boxes a few months ago, but I can't justify $1500 for a Milwaukee box combo, much less what SO would want haha

I love white tool boxes and garages. Personally I’d keep the HF 44 and repaint it.

I just bought the 56" version of that box. Still moving all my stuff into and working on the layout. So far I'm liking it. I want to make a stainless top over the wood and anodize the drawer pulls black.

That would look killer. Would love to see some pics of the 56, and if you do the drawer pulls definitely post that!

Someone posted some Hayley cabinets from SEMA to the Obsessed Garage Facebook page, and had some really awesome ones in white.

Here are my Kobalt chests that I have had for a while and just picked up the 56” Husky. Currently in the middle of a garage makeover.
I bought 78” tall cabinets too (not in this view) but they are black. I wanted to do white but finding them in white proved to be problematic and/or custom/special order and EXPENSIVE.

I really love the WHITE!

I would like to see the drawer handles anodized black also (on the Husky).

Not the best picture, but here is the 56. I went it cause it has double slides on the top drawer, 24.5” deep, and 3 sets of casters.

Love em. I like white in the garage because it helps light the area up. Ceiling, walls, not the floor though.

Nice setup! I’m getting a quote on the anodizing. Hopefully it isn’t too $$$

I have white walls and ceiling and not the floor it is natural cement color. My toolboxes are red and my storage in the garage is a hodge dodge of colors of what I could get for free. I have this thing that the toolboxes are always red for me as I got them in that color by my selection of them a couple years ago and all I do is keep them clean. I am not a fan of white toolboxes and storage as they will show the dirt, grease and dust. One time with a greased hand on them and you would be spending the next several hours cleaning them up after the job you were doing. The other thing is after a few months in the garage the dust and dirt that is any garage and those white boxes will be dingy.

I have had white boxes for several years. I have an old ‘California Car Duster’ that works great to run over it occasionally to remove dust. A quick wipe with windex and a shop towel as you go and keeping them clean is not a big deal, even for greasy fingerprints.

Perfect timing, I was just shopping for a white box to outfit my new-to-me race trailer.

I like the white kobalt ones, but they are not for sale in my area.

The HF would be nice when they finally come out.

I would wait for the white HF 44. Husky drawer layout is almost as bad as Milwaukee's. I like more shallow drawers.

Are we sure HF is coming out with one in white? What proof/confirmation do we have, or is it just a rumor?

HD is sold out of their 46er. (keep eyeing to see if there might be a black friday deal).

btw, nice beetle!

The guy in the leather jacket is Adrian Newey from Red Bull racing F1 team, for anyone with a passing interest in that kind of thing 😎

Here an installation I did 20 years ago of some white Lista cabinets at a local Porsche dealership. A pair of Lista DW cabinets with a shelf cabinet in the middle for their boutique items. Interesting assortment of cars at the opening party.
